near the beginning of the film. You can find it in Melody Lane's
Opera Section.

MAYTIME (1937)

Probably the most polished of all the Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald films

THE NEW MOON (1938)

Unavailable online for copyright law extension reasons.

SWEETHEARTS (1938)

The couple's only film in color, it featured a light and breezy
romantic score and dialogue...and Nelson was happy to wear a modern suit
and clothes in this one! :)

Sweethearts

Music by Victor Herbert, Lyrics by Robert B Smith
From the 2 Act Comedy Operetta Sweethearts (1913)

This beautiful theme song was sung - several times - by
Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald in the 1938
film of the same name. A variation of Victor Herbert's operetta was featured
in the film; the characters played a husband and wife team who had
appeared in a successful run of the show for several years...
much much longer than the actual operetta had run on Broadway.
